Nous sommes CARaDOC (Careers & Doctors), une association de doctorants de l'Université Paris-Saclay. Nous organisons chaque année une convention carrière pour les doctorants et post-doc, et réalisons aussi régulièrement des vidéos d'interviews de professionnels de la recherche. Nos activités sur ces deux points ont pour but d'aider les jeunes chercheurs à définir leur parcours professionnel. 

Notre équipe YouTube Channel cherche de nouveaux membres afin d'organiser, de tourner, et de réaliser des interviews de docteurs de différents secteurs. Cela permettra aux doctorants et aux post-docs de mieux connaître les différentes possibilités de carrière qui s'offrent à eux, mais aussi de participer à un projet associatif épanouissant et convivial.

CARaDOC is recruiting! 

Dear Ph.Ds & Postdocs,

We are looking for new members for the CARaDOC YouTube channel team. CARaDOC, standing for Careers and Doctors, is a PhD-Postdoc association at University Paris Saclay that aims to help young researchers to define their career paths. Click here for more information! 

CARaDOC has two main activities: 1) a YouTube channel where we interview representatives from different research fields ; 2) a yearly Career convention.

In 2021, we embarked on a new mission: to conduct interviews of Ph.D. holders with diverse profiles and career pathways. Last year, we have grownour own YouTube channel and have released 20 interview videos featuring 17 speakers working in academia, startups, corporates, and public organizations. 

These interviews are an ever-green resource to learn about different career paths, how to choose yours, how to blossom in your current role, how to build transferable skills, and learn about the power of networking among many things. Read about our key takeaways from the last 20 interviews. 

Why participate in CARaDOC YouTube channel team?

You will work with an international team (more than 10 nationalities), a friendly place to learn new skills, an opportunity to learn about the functioning of public and private research institutions/companies, job markets, and also an opportunity to build your network. Most importantly, you will help to shape the careers of your fellow Ph.D. and postdocs.
